The Full Story

Hello and Welcome! I first want to say that I am horrible at talking about myself, but you’ve landed on this page because that’s exactly what you want me to do. I’ve always loved writing. It’s long been a passion of mine. I also love all things finance, music, and technology. What better place for me to intertwine all of the things I love in one place than into a blog! Hence, posted by page was born.

​Who Am I - Exactly?

Hi, I’m Page. Everything you see here is written, researched and posted by me. And in the instance it isn’t, I’ll let you know. 

I live at home with my husband, teen daughter, toddler son, and infant daughter. Our life’s motto. “We will sleep when we die. And living too.”

Who is this site for?

You. And Me. I, like every other human being on the planet, have thoughts, passions, opinions, and ideas. This is for those people.. Any living, breathing human being who has an opinion about what is going on in the world, wants to improve their life or learn and share something new. 

 

And Just for Kicks And Giggles, here are some random and not so random facts about me:

You can call me Adrienne. Page is my middle name.

I’m not a huge people person, and sarcasm should have been my middle name, yet people are ALWAYS coming to me for advice.

~

I was born in 1986. In America. Which makes me American.

I think.

~

I went to 10 schools in the 13 years I was in school, including three middle schools in my seventh-grade year. As a result?

I HATE moving.

~

I also don’t like the word HATE. It feels too strong, and hard to come back from. So if I ever use it, I’m not coming back.

Still HATE moving.

~

My parents married each other twice,

divorced each other twice.

So of course, I’ve been married twice.

OF COURSE.

~

I have a bachelor’s in Finance, masters of business administration, and a Master's of Arts In Human Counseling: Executive Leadership track. That last one was totally to avoid having to pay back my student loans, which in hindsight, was stupid to get into more debt, to avoid paying the debt.

But I’ll talk more about that later.

Favorite Colors: Pink and Purple. And Blue. But not really, it’s my husband’s favorite color and I’m a people pleaser.

(but mean and surly too - I’m an enigma).

I have worked in the banking industry since 2008, with stints at credit card companies and presently at a bank. But I think I want to teach, English.

~

I want to be an English teacher but went to school for Business. More wasted money and life mistakes. Lesson Learned.

~

My favorite rapper is Jay-Z. Because, duh. I completely worship the ground Beyonce walks on, in a non-God like way, but I can totally rock with some Hillsong and Lady Antebellum.

(They have magical voices).

I have this weird dream of making the world a better place one day, using my “pen.” 

~

I love chocolate candy, like candy bars, but DETEST, I mean absolutely LOATHE, chocolate cake and chocolate ice cream.

~

Oh, I love cold chips. I actually place chips in the freezer before eating them for like an hour or so.

Try it, it'll change your life.

That, and top ramen, with chopped onions, boiled chicken, soy sauce, hot sauce, ketchup, vinegar, and salt and pepper. It sounds disgusting, but it will literally be life-changing. Trust me. (Even though, I'm a virtual stranger, but we're open to learning new things right?).

I think public school teachers are underpaid. And while basketball is my favorite sport, (I'm really the biggest basketball fan EVER), I think there is something unequivocally wrong with someone who plays a sport for a living, making millions of dollars, while the people who are teaching us how to be better people and educate ourselves, who are actually changing lives, are struggling to make ends meet. I understand it's deeper than my rant, but that's what it is - my rant. *Shrug*

I played the violin for one year in sixth grade. I can play the violin part to the Lox's "Money, Power, and Respect." (Now the song is stuck in my head). Happens often. *shrug*

When I'm tired, I talk a LOT. Ramble actually.

I am the biggest, sarcastic, insert bad word here... but I low key, not really, but actually, A WHOLE LOT, care too much about what other people think.

I have an absolute addiction to Chipotle. It's sickening. I need to go on that Intervention show. I'm eating it now, while I'm talking about the addiction. I might start a support group.
